Residents in a city street woke up to find their car windows smashed and a trail of glass shattered over the road.
At least seven vehicles were damaged in the early hours of Tuesday as thugs went on a wrecking spree in Stuart Street, off Narborough Road.
Police said their investigation is still in its early stages, but it is understood nothing was stolen from the cars.
