Police are investigating a suspected hit and run incident involving a pedestrian on a residential street.
Emergency services descended on Bodnant Avenue, in Stoneygate, Leicester, at about 9.20am today.
They included an ambulance and police tactical support team, which cordoned off a section of road at its junction with Roundhill Road.
Officers also conducted door-to-door inquiries in both streets as part of an appeal for witnesses and information.
