A Land Rover belonging to the Bradgate Park Trust has been stolen from outside a village cafe.
Thieves struck as the £30,0000 Defender box van was parked near the public park's main gates in Bradgate Road, Newtown Linford, at about 10am today.
Trustees have issued an urgent appeal for information in an attempt to recover the vehicle, which is one of a fleet of three Land Rovers used by park rangers.
