Thieves destroyed a cash machine in a failed attempt to break into it and steal the money inside.The ATM at the Waitrose superstore in Market Harborough was cordoned off this morning after a raid in the early hours.The machine's casing was badly damaged - but police said no cash had been removed.It is the second failed raid on a supermarket ATM in Leicestershire in the past 10 days.An onlooker said: "I wouldn't want to speculate what has happened, but it looks like it's a physical attempt...
