Five people were arrested for drink-driving after crashing their cars in the first few days of
Leicestershire Police's annual Christmas crackdown.
Road safety campaigners said the collisions – which are not thought to have caused serious injuries – demonstrated the potentially catastrophic consequences of drink and drug-impaired driving.
