The memorial for Tyler will begin at the City of Leicester College at 5pm on Thursday.
His mum will speak about her son and her conviction that action is needed to tackle the knife culture which is part of some young people's lives.
Representatives of the Leicester Anti-knife Crime Project, including Leicester singer and campaigner Bizzi Dixon and Megan Upton will also speak.
