A group of people have been injured following an incident in Humberstone Gate last night when a car mounted the pavement and drove into them.
Eyewitnesses said they watched as a black Hyundai collided with a several people gathered at a bus stop outside Subway at about 5pm.
Among them was a young boy, believed to be around 15 or 16, who was "launched" into fast food outlet's door, according to Dr Beejay Bhatt, 36, who saw the incident as it unfolded.
