A young driver who was seriously injured in a crash at the weekend has died in hospital.
Ross Spencer, 17, of Castle Donington, died at Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre this morning.
Mr Spencer's red Vauxhall Astra was involved in a collision with another vehicle, a black Jeep Commander, near his home village shortly before 6pm on Saturday.
Leicestershire Police, which released Mr Spencer's details, said the vehicles were travelling in opposite directions.
