A man was pinned against a doorway, assaulted and robbed as he walked through Leicester Market.
The 19-year-old victim was approached by a group of four men in Market Place South.
One of the men held him against a doorway before taking his wallet and assaulting him.
The victim sustained a minor injury, Leicestershire Police said.
