A woman has denied attempting to abduct a baby girl from a flat in Leicester.
Rukibai Lakhman Karavadra was remanded into custody after a short hearing at Leicester Magistrates Court on Saturday morning.
The 62-year-old defendant, of Weymouth Street, in Belgrave, Leicester, pleaded not guilty to the charge of "attempting to take a child so as to remove him or her from a person having lawful control."
