Police taped off a section of a town centre this morning after a man was reported to be behaving aggressively and telling bystanders he was going to harm himself.
A section of Loughborough's Cattle Market, at its junction with Granby Street, was taped off while officers dealt with the man.
A Leicestershire Police spokeswoman said officers, including the armed response unit, were called to the scene at 10.20am.
