Two teenagers were arrested on suspicion of car theft, drug dealing and possession of a weapon after a police pursuit early today.
The young men, aged 17, were stopped by officers in Lyon Close, off Aylestone Lane, Wigston shortly after 12.30am.
Officers from the force's roads and armed policing team began a "controlled pursuit" of the teenagers' vehicle in Wigston town centre five minutes earlier.
